Minako debates her next step for a moment, but screw it, it seems to fit the playful mood of all this, so--she leans down to brush her lips against the back of Rise's hand as she helps her up. Looking up to meet her eye again, there's mischief shining in her expression.
Oh, that's exactly what she was hoping for. Minako grins, lacing her fingers with Rise's as she starts to lead on.. The jolt from the moonlacing is always welcome.
"Yeah, so... not everybody's from the same universe here. Not every Moonblessed's even from an Earth either, I think?"
Hand holding is nice. It's extra nice with the moonlacing. Rise beams and lets Minako lead the way.
Her beam fades into a contemplative look. Now there's a bite to chew.
"Oh weird. I guess not any weirder than popping onto an alien planet where touching is magic and people turn into animals because of the moon." So sure, why not. Okay.
"Thought so! Me too," Minako practically beams at that, bouncing on her heels as they go. "I'm from Iwatodai--you know, over in Hyogo Prefecture? What about you?"
"Yes!" Rise bounces, so excited to have the shared experience. "Really? I had a show there once, when I was younger! They were really sweet, even when the power went out in the middle!"
Her immediate thought is wait when was this, but then backtracks before going down. That. Rabbit hole. "Oh my god, you perform?" And oooh, teahouse is open and just ahead. "Here we go!"
"That sounds... kind of familiar, I think...?" She doesn't really want to get into the weird feelings she has on the idol industry to an idol's face, especially since she barely knows how to phrase them herself.
Minako hums thoughtfully, flipping through the menu, tail swishing behind her. "Ooh, good idea! They have this floral one I like? It's kind of like rose and lavender, but not really."
Whatever those feelings are they are probably valid. "Maybe I'll sing for you sometime and it will ring a bell," Rise giggles.
She leans over to look at the menu Minako is holding, as if that will make a difference. "Sure! We can get a little pot of it to share." And now that she's leaning in, and they're not moving, Rise becomes consciously aware for the first time that there's a gentle scent hanging around Minako, almost like warm winter baking.
"Maybe! I'd like that," Minako laughs, before the subject moves on. "Sounds good. They've got some super cute teacakes too...? My treat." Her ears flick unconsciously at the attention Rise seems to be paying, but she doesn't pay it any mind for now otherwise. She picks up a little bell on the table, ringing it to try to get a host's attention. Of course, she stays leaned in, cat-like eyes focused on Rise in between the effort there.
Cordis, man.
"Hi, could I get a pot of this for me and my pretty new friend? Some teacakes too. Thanks!"
Rise will definitely remember that for later. She feels a little too drunk to want to be singing right now. Not the way she wants to make a first impression around here.
Her eyes catch on those twitchy cat ears though, staring just a bit. So cute... "If you insist," Such a burden, to be bought fancy little treats.
She giggles and thanks the host, resting her chin on the heel of her hands. "I don't remember what we were talking about before we got side-tracked by tea," she confesses.
"... Neither do I," she admits with a laugh. "You're distracting company, you know. I don't think I even introduced myself--I'm Minako Arisato. I was a second-year at Gekkoukan High."
Probably. Minako's eyes light up at that, even if it does raise the... usual questions. Can't turn around without finding another Persona user here, can you? "Oh, I've been there! Gekkoukan and Yasogami had a training fellowship up there last summer--a bunch of our sports clubs went up for a few days. We stayed at the Amagi Inn?"
Rise's eyes go wide in response. "No way!" She claps her hands. "My friend Yukiko-senpai's family owns that Inn. She even works there! I don't remember that happened, though, so maybe I wasn't home that summer..."
She's part of this, Orpheus murmurs in her mind, and Minako ignores her for now. Or at least, she isn't going to directly push that button yet. "Oh, you know Yukiko-san too! I met her, when I was there... some of her other friends are here too." Minako nods, and she smiles graciously and thanks the host when the serving tray comes around. She pours herself a cup of the tea, going on. "Yeah! Tennis. I haven't really played since I got here, though..."
Rise nods, but waits to respond so she can also thank the server and admire the tray of goodies.
"I've seen some of our friends already! I ran into them earlier. I don't think Yukiko-senpai is here, though." Too bad, it'd be so great to have everyone...
When Minako is done, she pours herself a cup. "That's cool! I've never played but it looks impressive to me."
Minako joins in the laughter, eyes and pupils wide with excitement once she manages to slow down. "Get this many Persona users in one place, and of course we're gonna start talking."

"Likewise. So, you're from a Japan, right?"
no subject
She's not really thinking about the implications of her reaction, here. Not yet, anyway.
"A Japan?"

"Then, yes, I am from a Japan, I guess."

"Oh! It's cute!" Rise happily lets herself be dragged in, having a look at the menu. "It's late so maybe herbal...?"
