[ minako had gravitated towards yukari once aigis got out of bed, enjoying the warmth and the feeling of another body beside her. she murmurs something incoherent as yukari starts laying affection on her, curling forward and slightly closer to her girlfriend. ]

Mmn... [ she mumbles something that's probably supposed to be yukari's name against her pillow, arm slung loosely across her side. none of the usual energy is there--she's been working late on music a few nights this week, and the debt is catching up to her. her hair has grown out, over the past several months, soft red hair long enough to reach down to her shoulder blades--and now spread every which way by sleep, slowly being detangled by yukari. ]

[ she chuckles low in her throat, placing kisses from the shell of minako's ear, down her neck, and to the curve of her shoulder. even the half-slurred version of her name makes her heart feel too full for her chest. ]

Minako. [ yukari presses her face to the crook of her neck, grin wide. ] How late were you up last night?

M'always up late... [ she makes a sound vaguely approximating an "i don't know" noise. she's so out of it, and definitely not properly awake. she tilts her head to the side, breath catching at the delicate attention she's receiving. minako wants to stir and return the favor, but it might not be so bad to keep sleeping like this... her arm pulls yukari a little closer, regardless. ] ... s'nice.

You are. Seriously, I don't know when you sleep.

[ the many nights spent half-awake in bed until yukari can feel minako settle in next to her or dozing off in a nearby chair while she works on her music to keep her company beg to differ.

she snuggles in as close as she can, lightly scraping her nails against minako's scalp as she continues to card through her hair. ] And yeah...this is nice.

[ none of the people in this house get to sleep before midnight anyway. ]

Try'n to now... [ she touches her face to yukari's shoulder but doesn't extract herself from the pillows. the touch, the quiet sound of her voice? it's all soothing beyond measure. ] Love you.

[ thanks, shared dark hour trauma. ]

Love you, too. A lot. [ she cranes her neck to place another kiss to minako's jaw. ] I'll make breakfast if you let me know whenever you're ready for it.

[ there's something that's probably meant to be "not yet" slurred into her pillow, and she pulls yukari a little closer. ]

Don'go.

Not going anywhere, love.

[ god. pet names. back at home, yukari found the entire concept of calling a significant other something mushy like 'dearest' or 'darling' nauseating. too many third wheel experiences with overly affectionate couples will do that to a person.

but that was then and now? calling her sleepy girlfriend 'love' while melting into her embrace isn't so bad. ]
