So signing the contract is what caused Thanatos to manifest?

Like I said--someone sealed Death inside me. Part of him, anyway--the main part. The other twelve would come out during full moons.

[ she presses her lips together, thinking before sipping at that drink ren brought. ] But... hmmm, no, I don't think that's what it was. Not really. My awakening let him manifest--he was just a Shadow who was along for the ride. Plus the Shadow attacking the dorm was part of him, so if it was destroyed, Death would reabsorb it.
