[ It isn't that Akechi sought out this little situation purely out of the goodness of his heart. First of all everyone has a selfish reason, especially for what they consider goodness, and second, Akechi just felt like fighting something and didn't care to be picky over the opportunity.

It only became more of a nuisance than it was worth when the bubbles the kelpies spat forth came for Akechi himself rather than one of the other (useless) watchmen, and to his deep irritation something denied his call to Loki. The walls of the bubble, then? It would be laughable that he'd be held back by so petty a thing if he weren't about to die in a damn bubble.

Yet when he's rescued by what he can only think is a Persona, Akechi acts as though he escaped by his own means, acknowledging the girl only after catching his breath and tipping back the visor of his helmet. ]

I was fully capable of breaking out myself.
